Kimi aakau's First Assembly 2017

Kimi aakau lead the assembly today for the whole school. We were so impressed with the kimi aakau presenters. The Kiwi Birds shared a poem with the school about lions, Sidney and Zoe made fantastic teachers!

To inspire our writing we worked together to build something and then wrote about it. Some groups said it was easy to work together others said it was hard.

Chase and Niamh - This is our magic garden house.
Zoe and Nicholas - This is our creation.
Ben S and Sophia - This is my castle. We like it because it is lovely because it is great. We built it together and it is cool.
Evie and Connor - This is a house. This is Connor's house. This is Evie's house. It has a dog witch and girl.
Ara and Aiden - We built together. We like it. This is my house. It has a garden and a witch.
Zara, Ta, Siena - We built a house car. This is my creation.
Cate and Blake - This is a slide and trap car with two wheels it has tools and a cone and rainbow colours.
Haydn and Natalie - I made a starwars. I like starwars.
Otis and Amelie - We built a airplane hide out. It has a trap. It is for bad guys. We built a helicopter that has a camera. It has rainbow colours and it is really cool.
